JobMatch is a mobile application operated by VW Labs LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). JobMatch helps job seekers discover opportunities, track applications, prepare for interviews, and connect with potential contacts at target companies.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
Account Information: Email address, name, and authentication credentials.
Job Preferences: Desired job titles, locations, salary expectations, years of experience, work arrangements, and other search criteria.
Application Tracking: Job applications, statuses, notes, timestamps, and related metadata.
Connected Inbox Data: When you connect your Gmail account, we access job-search-related email metadata such as sender, subject, timestamps, snippets, and thread identifiers to identify application updates. We may process recent application-related message content to provide visible inbox, tracking, and user-requested application workflow features. We do not sell Gmail data, use it for advertising, or allow humans to read it except with your permission, for security/debugging, or as legally required.
LinkedIn Profile: LinkedIn profile URL if you choose to provide it for networking features.
Interview Session Data: Interview questions, practice responses, audio recordings (if recorded), and coaching feedback.
Auto-Apply and Scout Profile Data: Contact information, professional links, resume, work authorization, employment details, salary expectations, and optional demographic information (EEOC fields) that you provide for application assistance.
Usage Analytics: App interactions, feature usage patterns, and performance metrics.
Device Information: Device type, operating system, browser type, and IP address.

Communicating with you about your account and service updates
Auto-filling job application forms when you initiate Auto-Apply or enable Scout/application-agent workflows according to your settings and plan limits
4. AI & Automated Processing
JobMatch uses artificial intelligence, including Google Gemini AI, to generate interview coaching content, outreach message suggestions, and other personalized recommendations. AI-generated content is provided as guidance only and may not always be accurate or complete. You are solely responsible for reviewing any AI-generated content before using it.
5. Data Sharing
Applicant Tracking Systems and Employers: When you use Auto-Apply or enable Scout/application-agent workflows, your profile information may be transmitted to the specific employer, applicant tracking system, or application form provider for the job you selected or configured. These may include systems such as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Workable, BambooHR, direct employer career sites, and similar services.
Browser Automation Processors: We use BrowserUse and related browser automation infrastructure to open application pages, fill forms, upload your resume, complete browser-provider managed page verification when available, submit applications you initiate or configure, and stop when login, account creation, email/SMS/MFA, or user-specific verification is required. These processors receive the information needed to perform the application workflow during the active session.
Google API Limited Use: Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Gmail data only to provide or improve user-facing JobMatch features, and not for advertising or resale.
6. Third-Party Services
Google OAuth and Gmail API: Secure authentication and connected inbox features.
Google Gemini AI: Interview coaching and content generation.
JSearch API (RapidAPI): Job listing data aggregation.
BrowserUse: Browser automation for Auto-Apply fallback, application form completion, and submit-capable application workflows when enabled.
RevenueCat: Subscription processing and payment management.
Supabase: Secure database hosting.
7. Data Storage and Security
Your resume is stored securely in encrypted cloud storage. Temporary signed URLs with 5-minute expiration are generated for each application session. We implement HTTPS encryption, secure database access controls, regular security audits, and limited employee access to personal data.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us or using the in-app delete account feature.
9. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
10. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children's Privacy
JobMatch is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of JobMatch after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
